A fascinating sonic experiment.
I placed an iPhone 12 on a tripod at
the very back of a vast 2,100-seat
hall to discover what kind of
resonance could be captured from
that distance.
As expected, the recorded sound
was delicate and faint.
You have to turn the volume all the
way up.
Yet, from the very edge of that
maximum volume, leaking through
the natural hiss of the white noise,
an indescribable sense of
"Sanctuary" emerged and blended
into the air.
It feels like a comforting melody
drifting from afar—
Not staring directly at you,
yet making you want to gaze back
at it (haha).
Something you want to keep playing
forever,
wrapped in its embrace.
It has woven itself into a beautiful,
intimate suite—a "little KUMI-
Suite"
Indeed, Sanctuarism is the ultimate
experience.
